Utah County has a lot of indoor golf now. Screens in back rooms, app-access bays with nobody on site, membership clubs, and full facilities with coaching attached. They are not the same product, and the prices overlap enough that it is genuinely hard to tell them apart from a website.

Five Things Worth Checking Before You Book Anywhere
01 · Is the launch monitor radar or cameras?
TrackMan uses radar to measure what the club and ball actually did. Camera-based systems infer it from images. Both put a number on the screen; only one of them measured it. If you are trying to change something in your swing over a winter, that is the difference between progress and a guess. Pure Golf runs TrackMan in both bays.
02 · How big is the bay, really?
Bay count gets advertised. Bay size rarely does, and it is the thing you feel. A narrow bay makes you swing carefully, which is the opposite of useful practice. Pure Golf runs two bays rather than a row of small ones, and they are the largest private bays in Utah Valley.
03 · Is anyone actually there?
A lot of 24-hour indoor golf in this county is unstaffed — you get a code or an app and let yourself in. That is fine when everything works. It is less fine when it does not, and it means there is nobody to ask a question. Worth knowing which kind you are booking before you turn up at ten at night.
04 · Can you get a lesson where you practice?
Plenty of places have a screen. Fewer have a PGA-certified instructor teaching on it. Both instructors at Pure Golf are PGA certified and teach in the same bays you book, on the same numbers, so the lesson and the practice are not in two different buildings. Adults are 90 minutes at $100, juniors 60 minutes at $70.
05 · Do you have to join something?
This is the big one, and it is where the county splits hardest. Several places require a monthly membership before you can book at all, sometimes with an activation fee on top. Pure Golf does not. An hour is $35, you can buy exactly one, and punch passes are there if you want the rate down — $30, $25 or $21.25 an hour depending on the size.
Why Indoor Golf Is Not Just a Winter Thing Here
Every course in Utah County closes for roughly four months. Hobble Creek in Springville, which the city owns, shuts at Thanksgiving regardless of the weather. Timpanogos in Provo and Sleepy Ridge in Orem wind down around the same time, and The Oaks in Spanish Fork with them. From late November until the thaw, the only golf in this valley is indoors.
The rest of the year it is less about weather and more about hours. Courses are daylight only and the range is busy after work. A bay at nine at night, in February or in July, is the part people end up valuing most.
Where You Are Driving From
Pure Golf is in Springville, on the frontage road at the 1400 N exit. Most of the south county is inside fifteen minutes:
- Springville — you are already here, under five minutes
- Mapleton — about seven minutes, straight across town, no freeway
- Spanish Fork — about eight minutes, one exit north
- Provo — about ten minutes, two exits south on I-15
- Orem — about fifteen minutes down I-15
