Eighteen holes, par 72, bent grass greens over Kentucky bluegrass fairways, with a driving range and a full pro shop attached.
That is a genuinely good golf course to have at the end of your street. It is also shut for roughly four months a year, and so is every other course in the county. Hobble Creek up the road in Springville is owned by that city and closes at Thanksgiving regardless of the weather. The question for a Spanish Fork golfer is not where to play in July. It is what happens in January.
What Eight Minutes North Gets You
One exit up I-15 and you are in Springville. From most of Spanish Fork it is about eight minutes, which is less time than it takes to scrape a windshield and decide the range is too cold.

Fair question, and the honest answer is that if you want a screen to hit into for an hour, there are closer options than driving to Springville. We would rather say that than have you find out and feel misled.

Coaching from someone who is actually PGA certified, in the same room you practice in, so the lesson and the practice are not in two different buildings. Or simply the ability to pay for one hour, on a Tuesday, without signing up to a monthly plan first. Those are the reasons people make the drive, and if none of them matter to you on a given evening then the closer option is the right one.
Junior Golf and the Off-Season
Maple Mountain High opened in Spanish Fork in 2009 and now runs close to 1,800 students, and between it and Springville High there is a steady supply of junior golfers in this corner of Nebo District with a season that ends in the fall and a tryout that does not. A 60-minute junior lesson at $70 plus an hour of bay time is a realistic weeknight when the drive is eight minutes, and TrackMan numbers give a teenager something concrete to work on rather than vague advice about tempo.
