Pure Golf Players Club was conceived by three friends (Chris, Craig & Dane) who love to play golf and saw an opportunity to build the premier indoor golf simulator facility in Utah County. We meticulously planned every facet of the facility so your experience is top-notch. We opened the facility in January 2021, and have since partnered with Steve Nelson, inventor of the Automatic Swing Trainer (ATS) and one of the best golf instructors around. Together, the four of us have a singular goal: to make golf fun! We pride ourselves on personalized service and invite you to come experience the Pure Golf difference.
Dane Moorman PGA Certified Instructor
Dane is also a Springville native who enjoys sports and being outdoors. He spends a lot of his time camping, hunting and snowmobiling with friends and family. He recently completed training as a PGA Certified Instructor, and along with Steve, is also certified to deliver First Tee instruction for young golfers.
Foursome role: Dane is our designated long driver. If the rest of us can put one in the fairway then we let Dane grip it and rip it!
Steve Nelson Inventor of the Automatic Swing Trainer
Steve is the senior member of the Pure Golf team and keeps us all in line. He grew up in California where he honed his love of golf, eventually leading him to play professionally for almost 20 years. Since retiring Steve has continued to share his love of golf coaching in high school and is the inventor of the Automatic Swing Trainer (AST). When he’s not teaching private lessons at Pure Golf you'll most likely find him playing at Hobble Creek.
Foursome role: Steve is Mr Consistency so he hits first. We can always count on him to put one safely into play (or on the green). His long putter isn't too bad either.
Chris Chris Title
Chris is a Springville native who still resides here. He's a big Green Bay Packers fan, enjoys playing fantasy football and sports betting. He makes frequent trips to Wendover so if anyone is looking for a ride partner give him a call.
Foursome role: Chris rules the short game around the green. Whenever we need to get up-and-down we know we can count on Chris to stick one close.
Craig Craig Title
Craig has lived in Springville for almost 26 years. He grew up near the Outer Banks of North Carolina and is still drawn to the smell and sounds of the ocean. He's a rabid college basketball fan and loyal follower of the UNC Tar Heels.
Foursome role: Craig is the team wildcard. He has a pretty decent putting game, but he’s just as likely to chip-in as he is to blade it across the green.

This place is perfect! Great set up with individual enclosed bays. It’s clean and the owners are amazing. For our first time, Dane, one of the owners showed us all the technology before we started. He made a special trip down the day after Christmas. After we were done he gave my daughter a mini lesson. Dane is getting his PGA card and was so helpful and positive with her. This is not just your everyday simulator, what sets this place apart is the customer experience. Anyone can hit a ball into a screen, these guys want you to have a first class experience. Proud to be a First Tee Facility
Golf is fun for all ages and we love sharing our passion with the up and coming generation. First Tee is a fantastic organization that enables youth around the country to develop a love for golf as well as develop self-confidence and other life lessons through a mix of golf and life-skills curriculum.
In the summer of 2023 Pure Golf Players Club became an official partner of First Tee and regularly hold events here.
